Las’Lap Miami is a Caribbean-inspired restaurant and rum bar by acclaimed chef Kwame Onwuachi, located in South Beach. The space brings together food, music, and culture in a way that feels vibrant, social, and full of movement. Rooted in Caribbean traditions and shaped by Miami’s energy, Las’Lap is designed as a place to gather, share, and celebrate. This project focused on translating that feeling through photographs of Kwame’s dishes.
Bringing the flavors of the caribbean through the lens of the cultures of Miami
OUR CONTRIBUITION
For Las’Lap Miami, we photographed a range of dishes that reflect the menu’s Caribbean roots and coastal influences. The plates feature fresh seafood, vibrant sauces, citrus notes, and layered flavors inspired by Trinidad, Jamaica, and the broader Caribbean, all presented in a playful and expressive way
Our focus was on showcasing the variety of the menu, raw seafood and shareable plates paired with carefully prepared mains and signature dishes. Through careful composition and attention to color and detail, the photographs highlight how the food is meant to be experienced together, capturing the warmth, movement, and energy that define dining at Las’Lap Miami.
